Summer
Its kind of crazy how fast time flies. Seems summer has gone by in the blink of an eye. Its already mid August. Seems like we've been all kinds of busy. We are looking for houses still can't seem to find one that we feel good about. But we have narrowed down the area. In the Draper area. We are are heading out to California tomorrow. I'm so excited! We get to get away from work and be able to enjoy the nice warm weather. I wish that summer would last longer I love the warm weather. We bought some tennis rackets and have been trying to teach ourselves how to play. Aaron is doing better than I am. I am in very poor shape I don't have any stamina I'm done in about 20 minutes. haha. So I've invested in some running shoes and a cute outfit to match and we started running on Saturday. I was pretty tired but felt pretty good afterwords. And even had enough energy to play some tennis after. Not too bad haha. Can I just tell you life is so amazing being married knowing that you have a great man to be with all the time is the best in the whole world. Yay!!

Jackson and Potter Mania haha
Aaron and I had a blast over the Fourth of July weekend. We went to Jackson whole with his family and his Aunt Shelly (what a cutie) and Grandma Hansen. His Grandma rented an apartment up at Teton village for us to stay with her, so nice. I loved it up there everything was so green and beautiful. We started out on Thursday afternoon and got to Jackson around 5pm then went swimming and ate some hot dogs by the pool. The next day we woke early and went looking for wildlife in the Tetons national park. We saw a few elk moose and some kind of varmint :). Then we went hiking around Jenny Lake took all kinds of pictures. I was dieing though so out of shape its crazy I was way behind everyone else, thankfully Aaron stayed with me such a sweetie. then after we were done hiking the had a boat ride to take you back to the other side of the lake. As we neared the boat more and more mosquitoes were attacking us, I mean there were millions it was crazy. We went to downtown Jackson and rode the Alpine slide, I've only been on one of those before and it was the one at Snowbird and its kind of short and this one was really big. I was a little scared, but I did it anyway and it was fun. We went and looked around all the shops and didn't see anything we just absolutely had to have. It was fun to see all the different shops there was quite a few that had taxidermied animals in them. One shop had a taxidermied wolf in it that was the one that freaked me out it looked so real. I am afraid of dogs so that was scary. The sad part though was when I checked my camera to see how much memory I used I accidentally formatted it and lost all my pictures I was so mad. Rediculas! I will never check my memory on my camera agian, so sad :(. For dinner we headed for the Bar J ranch. Its a dinner theater that entertains you while you are eating. They sing old cowboy songs they were really funny too. The next day (4th of July) we just kind of took it easy played tennis went swimming then Aaron and I went into downtown Jackson again and ate a pizza place it was really good. The crust was all crunchy and the sauce was tasty. Good stuff. Then we all went on a gondola ride up the mountain, it was amazing to be on the top of the mountain and see the whole intire valley. Beautiful! Then we headed back and went swimming again and ate some dinner, played some card games. Now it was time for fireworks, and let me tell you those fireworks were unbelievable non stop for a half hour and the grand finale, by the end of it you couldn't see it was so bright. Awesome! Sunday we were out of there packing up and on the road on our way home we stopped by one the local chuches and went to church. Aaron and I got home and just relaxed. It was such a fun vacation. He makes vacationing so amazing. OKAY now on to the Harry Potter movie, it was really really good. I was surprised I mean all the others were just mediocre except for the Prisoner of Azkaban that one is still my favorite one. But anyway it was really good they did the end of the book (you all know the part I mean :( ) really well. So I would definitley recomend this movie to you. Aaron and I went with my fam, I'm always so happy to be with them. They liked it too. :)

Lagoon
Friday was Anthony's birthday. Me Aaron and my fam all went up to Lagoon on Friday. Lagoon is a lot of fun. But I must say that Disneyland is far better because it has a magical feel to it. Lagoon feels like a carnival, not much atmosphere to it. But it was lots of fun nun the less. Got to hang with the fam, I love being with them. We went on the Wicked (me, Aaron, Dad and Dani). Dani and I were freaking out while being strapped in to the ride. Aaron was just lauphing at us and said its to late now :). Haha. It was a lot of fun. We also went on the Rocket that ride is the scariest thing ever, but one of the funnest. I get off that ride and my legs are wobbly and I can barely stand super scary :) but lots of fun. Then the rain came and lots of it, it was like a sheet was coming down. We then decided to call it quits and head back to my parents house to give Anthony his presents and eat some cake. My Mom makes the best hot water cake mmm....mm.... good. then saturday my Dad and Dani and I went to the movies and Aaron went golfing with our wards Elders quorum. We went and saw The Land of the Lost. Let me tell you that was such a lame show lots of naughty stuff and it wasn't even close to funny, ill timing. Just dumb, don't go see this movie I felt dummer just watching it. Then after Aaron and I went to a bbq with the Elders quarum and there families. Not too much to eat, but I guess i shouldn't have expected anything since men where planning it :) haha jk. It was good food hamburgers and hot dogs. Met some new people so that was fun. Sunday went to church and gave a lesson. I not sure how good a teacher I am I always feel as if the kids are really bored. Oh well if I'm not good now this is a learning experiance and hopefully I will get better. Hopefully :). Then we went to my parents house to visit and eat dinner. I love going to see my family I love them so much. We had some tasty chicken and fried rice and some biskets good stuff. We played Clue after dinner thats a fun game I won the first just by a good guess Nicci won the second and Aaron won the third. All around good times. Life is so amazing, I love Aaron so much and everyday that gets stronger and stronger. I am so very thankful for all the many blessings I have Aaron, my family, my new family, my friends, our house, our cars, Aarons job and so many more things. I love spending all my time with my love Aaron he is my all. <3

Up
Over the weekend Aaron and I went and saw the movie Up. I really liked the movie I thought it would be this cute happy show, but holy cow I cried at least twice during the movie. I know I know kind a lame to cry at an animated show but it was just so sad. Now I won't ruin it for those who have not seen it yet. But let me tell you it is a movie with a lot of emotions sad, happy, funny, and sweet. I loved the show and would highly recommend you go see if you have not yet. On Friday we also saw another movie it was New in Town, not the best movie but better than you would have thought it could be. We spent a lot of time over the weekend with Aaron's family, it was a lot of fun I enjoy being with them. Its pretty cool how all of a sudden you have a larger family and love them all in an instant. Its fun.

Rain :)
Tuesday night all was right, we went for a ride in the rain. We then arrived at a parking garage, parked and walked in the rain. We also passed the train, we ran until we could run no more. We reached the Assembly Hall in Temple square where there was a band playing. Aaron got a flyer informing us of some free concerts in the park. But since it was poring the concert was held inside at the Assembly Hall in Temple Square. It was fun band, it played jazz and swing. It was so fun to go and listen to the band play. It made me want to swing dance. Aaron and I are going to take some swing dance lessons, I am so excited. I love to dance. The rain was fun the concert was fun and being with Aaron made it perfect :)

Water fun
Last Friday was my little sister Natalie's birthday. Us and the fam went to Famous Daves for some good ol' southern bbq. You get so much food there its crazy but really good. Aaron and I shared a plate purfect for two people. My Mom made Natty an icecream cake it was so cute how she decorated it. It was a log with cute bugs on top with Happy Birthday Natalie written in icing. She got all kinds of fun stuff. Then Saturday Aaron went golfing with his family and then came home and cleaned the house for me, <3. Mean while I went to the store and got some food-ige, then went to my cousins baby shower and then me and my siblings went to raging waters, but it turned cold so we didn't stay too long. Then as we were about to leave raging waters it started to rain just in time. Then I went home to be with my awesomly handsome amazing husband. :) Then Sunday I gave the closing prayer in sacrament meeting, talk about scary. Even though I wasn't all that scared because I had taken a benedryl and that makes me super tired so I was too tired to be too scared. Yay for benedryl.... I guess haha. I also had a lesson to give sunday, I'm always super intimidated to get in front of people and talk. You would think that having a class of 12 and 13 year olds would be easier.... well it kind of is but isn't at the same time. After church Aaron and I headed over to my parents house we played monopoly and of course Aaron won, the titan of games. We then had an awesome dinner, some italian chicken and rice pilaf. Super tasty my mom is a great cook. I'm glad I had her to teach me how to cook, or else I would probably be cooking ramen each night. haha. I'm sure Aaron is glad too.

Fun Week
It was a fun Memorial Day weekend. Saturday got to go to the movies with my hubby. We went and saw Wolverine, not the best but worth seeing once. Then went shopping with my sisters that was a lot of fun. I love shopping, and being with my girls! Later on that night Aaron made us a nacho casserole, it was actually pretty good. Then we watched a movie called Yes Man, with Jim Cary in it. It was pretty funny. It was a nice relaxed day, went to church took a nice long nap then cooked us some cocacola pork tenderloin. It was really tasty. Aaron is an amazing cook! Then on Memorial Day me, Aaron and Aaron's family hiked up the trail to Mount Timpanogos cave and went though the cave. Burr it was cold in there but lots of fun to get out on beautiful warm day and go hiking, even though I am super sore still :) I was so upset I forgot to bring my camera, I always do that :(. Oh well it was still a blast. Then we got treated to some pizza afterwords. It has been such a good week, just getting to be with Aaron after work is awesome. I'm glad he is done with school. Then tonight we are going to the Temple, I love going to the Temple it is just an amazingly beautiful feeling to go inside. And I just feel content and happy. Then tomorrow is my Natalie's birthday. She is going to be 14, I can't believe it she has grown up so fast I remember going to hospital after she was born. She was actually born on Memorial day. Then Saturday she wants to go to raging waters, I'm excited I love to go swimming, but only in pools. Lakes freak me out with all the fishes. Fun stuff, I love it.

Dance!
Yesterday Aaron and I went with my family to go watch my little sister Natalie in her dance recital. It was lots of fun! Natalie is an amazing little dancer. She did such a good job! She looked like she was having fun and she remembered all of her steps I didn't see one mistake, and she had like 7 dances to do or more. I'm way impressed. I love to dance and seeing her dance made me want to go dancing and reminded me of when I danced in high school that was a blast. I miss dancing it is one of my favorite things to do. I think I may have to find a dance class to sign up for. After the recital we all (my fam, me and my hubby) went to Leatherbys and got some icecream. I got the peanut butter cup its vanilla icecream with hot fudge and hot peanut butter on top. Yumm!! Then Aaron and I came home and ate some dinner, yeah desseret before dinner is the best. haha. It was such a fun night. Tonight is the season premire of So You Think You Can Dance, I'm so excited its such a fun show. We invited my family to come over tonight to eat dinner and watch SYTYCD. We are going to have a blast. So this will be my week of Dance! :) Yay dance!

Jammy jam jam
Yesterday I went over to my parents house and I made my very first batch of canned strawberry jam. Its always fun to spend time with my mom and sisters. We had lots of fun. We went to the store to buy some sure gel and some sugar to make the jam with. I went and bought the strawberries the day before at macy's with my hubby. I feel bad I left him home all alone, but he is such a sweetheart he wanted me to go have some fun with my family. I made 9 jars of jam, 6 out of 9 jars sealed I was so happy. I was like 6 out of 9 isn't bad for the first time ever making jam. Then I headed home to my Aaron, I missed him so. Then this morning when I woke all 9 jar's lids had sealed. I also taste tested it and tasted pretty dang good if I do say so myself :) . Yay!! Success!! Fun day.

Mothers Day
Aaron and I had a great weekend. He is such a sweetheart he got me some flowers for mothers day, because I'll be the mama of our future babies. They are so pretty, all kinds of pink flowers, he knows me well :) . For our date night we walked around Temple Square and took some photos of the pretty tulips and the temple and ourselves too, got to get those too.

It was a bit chilly but so much fun! Then we headed over to the Navoo Cafe and got some tasty food. If you haven't been there before I highly recommend it, it is super good. We also watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a strange movie I don't think I liked it very much. It was just way too weird. Then on Saturday we went up to Aaron's parents house. His mother asks her boys to wash her windows each year for mothers day. He, his family and I washed his parents house's windows, a lot of work but when we all work together it went pretty fast. Those boys did such an amazing job the windows looked great. We also got an amazing breakfast and lunch, for our spoils :). Mmm...mmm... good! Last Sunday I was called to be a Sunday school teacher for 12-14 year olds. I'm super nervous about it, but all I can do is have faith that the Lord would not have called me to this calling if I was not ment to be there. But I sat in on the class this week and the kids were good, but that isn't the whole lot the boys that are in my class are passing the sacrament for a care center for the month of May. So we'll see if its still a good class when the rest come. But I'll just do my best. After church I made some potato salad, with some help from my hubby. Then we headed to my parents house for Mothers day. I love my momma so much I'm glad we got to spend mothers day with her. I got her some way cute brown dress pants. My family made some yummy dinner, pork sandwiches with homemade oh so tasty rolls. Mmm... mmm.... tasty!! We took our spoils and went on a picnic to Murray Park. It was a lot of fun, we ate and played badmitton. Always a helarious sport :) but way fun. All around great weekend. Well until next time. Peace. :)

Life is awesome!
Aaron and I have been married now for almost 4 months. And it is great I love it! I love having him with me always. Its really hard to go to work in the mornings, because I just want to be with him all the time. Aaron just finished school. Kudos to him because I tried and didn't have the patience for school. Maybe someday. I'm glad he's done, and proud of him too. Now we are in the hunt for a home to buy. Hopefully we can find on fast and get moved in and decorate and have a good ol' time. I like our little apartment now though. Its a good place to live, its about half way in between both of our works so that has been nice. We did have a problem with it a couple weeks ago. The basement had water leaking into it from the outside so the landlord came and pulled up the carpet and brought in some fans to try and dry the carpet, but that didn't work. And let me tell you our house stunk so badley, it was nasty. So we called him again, then he came and pulled out the carpet so now our house smells a whole lot better, so we have an unfinished room. But its all good we have one other bedroom for storage. But some mattrices that were down there got ruined. So sad but what do ya do. I'll be posting some pics of our wedding and other things later.
